Varsity Charger Tennis Team Falls to Creston in Road Non-conference Meet
The Chariton boys tennis team ran into a buzz saw when they faced Creston at Creston on May 30th. The Chargers lost to the Panthers 9-0 and #1 singles player, Willie Felderman, suffered his first dual loss in three years by losing 8-6.
In the varsity singles play at #2 Kody Jones lost 8-1. At #3, Hunter Storm lost 8-0. At #4, Quinn Storm lost 8-5. At #5, Fletcher lost 8-4. At #6, Joseph Hixenbaugh lost 8-0.
In JV play, the match ended in a 2-2 tie. In JV singles play, Ryan Jones won 7- 5. Sam Lerner lost 6-0.
