Bengtson, Schreck, Nance record personal best times at Albia Relays
The Chariton boys track team competed at the Blue Demon Relays in Albia April 25th. Among the highlights was Christian Bengtson winning the 800 meters with a personal best time of 2:05.49. In the 110 meter hurdles Ethan Schreck and Tyler Nance both recorded personal best times as well. Schreck placed fifth in 16.93 and Nance placed sixth in 16.97.
Alec Reynolds placed third in the shot put with a throw of 39'5". Chasen Blue placed third in the long jump with a jump of 17'. Travis Morr placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 122'3".
In the 1,600, Caleb Allen placed seventh in 5:50. In the 200, McElroy placed sixth in 25.37 and Altenhofen placed seventh in 26.07. In the 400 meters, Bengtson placed fourth in 55.52.
