May 14th was the day the Albia soccer team scored four  - second half goals and it was too much for the Chariton Boys soccer team.  The Chargers had some good chances early in the game and were tied 1-1.  Chariton's goal came off a really good shot taken by Sergey Kopytko, which the Albia goalie did a good job to knock down.  But Eduard Rodygin was there to kick the rebound into the net.  Albia scored with one minute left in the first half to make it a 2-1 game.  The Chargers seemed to run out of gas in the second half and gave up four goals and ultimately lost 6-1.

Chariton and Grinnell  May 13th  Chargers lose 6-0

A sluggish first half hurt the Chargers in their loss to Grinnell.  Chariton gave up five goals in the first half to find themselves in a 5-0 hole.  Chariton played better in the second half defensively, holding the Tigers to just one goal.  But they weren't able to get anything going, offensively.
