Two Wins at Clarke Relays for the Chariton Girls

Lahart Wins 400, Long Jump, Showers Wins High Jump

A myriad of excellent finishes helped lift the Chariton girls track team to a third place finish at the Clarke Relays at Osceola April 26th.  Kellie Lahart finished first in the 400 and the long jump and Allyson Showers won the high jump for the Lady Chargers.
Lahart won the 400 with a time of 1:05.10.  She won the long jump with a jump of 15' 3½".  Showers won the high jump with a jump of 4'8".  Emily Seuferer placed second in the shot put with a throw of 33'10".  Emma Fuhs placed second in the discus with a throw of 83' 10".
Lahart also placed third in the 100 with a time of 14 seconds even.  Maria Blong placed third in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.53.  In the shot put, Fuhs didn't place with a throw of 24' 9¾".  Carley Arnold placed sixth in the discuss with a throw of 72' 8".  Brittany Currie placed sixth in the high jump with a jump of 4' 4".  Delaney Richards didn't place in the long jump with a jump of 12'.
In the 100-meter dash, Laurin Zern didn't place witha 16.37.  In the 400-meter dash, Brittany Currie didn't place in 1:12.28.
