Lady Chargers Place Second

Lahart Wins 100, 200, 400 at SCC Meet Monday night, May 6th.

The Chariton girls track team had a banner night at the South Central Conference meet in Chariton.  Lahart won three events.  She placed second in the long jump.  Allyson Showers placed second overall in the high jump and Chariton's sprint medley relay team of Maria Blong, Lindsay Black, Delaney Richards and Allyson Shower placed second overall as well.  As a team the Chariton girls placed second overall with 103 points.  Davis County won the event with 177.

Lahart won the 200 in 27.15.  Allyson Showers placed fourth in 29.08.  Lahart won the 100 in 13.13.  Richards placed third in 13.69.  Lahart also won the 400 in 1:03.57.  Brittany Currie placed fifth in 1:10.44. In the long jump, Lahart placed second overall with a jump of 15' 11
¼".  
Allyson Showers placed second overall in the high jump with a jump of 4'10¾".  Brittany Currie was eighth with a jump of 4'4".  Emily Seuferer placed fourth overall in the shot put with a throw of 34'3½".  Emma Fuhs placed 12th with a throw of 25'.  Fuhs placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 93'1".  Seuferer placed ninth with a throw of 80'10".
