The Chariton Lady Charger golf team competed at the girls South Central Conference meet at Harvest Point Golf Course in Oskaloosa. Eddyville was the host for the meet. Chariton had three golfers playing and didn't register a team score for the meet. Tiffany Dale just missed making all conference with a score of 100.
Elena Popkov shot a 126. Morgan Cochran shot a 136. "I'm proud of how the girls performed today. It was the first 18-hole meet for Elena and Morgan and Tiffany just missed out on all-conference. It was a great experience for these freshmen as we move forward," Chariton Head Coach J.J. Stout said.
Albia's Lexi Van Polen was the medalist with an 88. Emily Scala of Albia was the runner-up with a 91.
Albia won the meet with a 366 score. Centerville was second with 390.
Davis County was third with 427 and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont was fourth with 452.. Clarke was fifth with 456.
