The Chariton varsity baseball team will be playing Knoxville on Tuesday, June 10, at 1:00 p.m. at Principal Park in Des Moines, the home of the Iowa Cubs. This is a fantastic opportunity for Chariton's kids and fans to enjoy a big league experience.
Purchasing a $5 ticket to this game will also give fans admission into any Iowa Cubs home game in 2014, with the exception of July 3. These tickets are now on sale at Midwest Heritage Bank in Chariton and the CHS office. People should act fast as there are only 300 tickets for sale and quite a few have been sold already.
