Charger Boys Give Good Effort in Loss to Powerful Creston at Home

  The Chariton boys tennis team faced another powerful team when it played Creston at home on May 6th.  
  "We are improving, but we're obviously not there yet.  I thought Lucas Hoeger and Michael Lawrence really played well.  A lot of their games went to deuce," Chariton Head Coach Mark Felderman said.
  In the #1 match, Ryan Jones lost to Garret Taylor, 10-1.  At #2 Nathan Kalsem lost to Chantz Davidson, 10-3.  In the #3 match, Andrew VanDenTop lost to Ryan Kucera, 10-1.  At #4 Lucas Hoeger lost to Tyler Waddingham, 10-2.  At #5 Lawrence lost to Triston Davidson, 10-0.  At #6 Caleb Schrodt lost to Seth Maitlen, 10-1.
  In doubles action, the #1 team of Jones/Kalsem lost to the team of Taylor/Chantz Davidson, 8-4.  In the #2 match, the team of VanDenTop/Hoeger lost to the team of Kucera/Waddingham, 8-0.  In the #3 match, the team of Lawrence/Schrodt lost to the team of Triston Davidson/Maitlen, 8-0.
