In the #1 varsity match, Sheena Savage lost to Paige Spowart, 8-4.  "This was a very even match until Spowart won the last four games," Chariton Head Coach Chelsy Arnold said.
In the #2 match, Justine Hamilton lost to Taylor Carter, 8-0.  Hamilton lost a couple of games that were at deuce in this match.  In the #4 match, Courtney Shounkwiler lost to Emily Blankenship, 8-2.  "Courtney had good serves in this match," Coach Arnold said.
In the #5 match, Alexis Mullins lost to Sammy Thompson, 8-2.  In the #6 match, Haley Reece played her first varsity match and lost to Natalie Worrell, 8-3.  "Haley played very well for her first varsity match," Coach Arnold said.
In the #2 match the team of Hamilton/Shounkwiler lost to the team of Chrisman/Blankenship, 8-2.  "We made too many unforced errors in this match.  We will work on ball placement, which should help," Coach Arnold said.
In the #3 match the team of Mullins/Reece lost to the team of Worrell/Shelby Vansteenwyk, 8-2.  "We had too many missed serves in this match.  We need to react and adjust quicker when teams hit the ball," Coach Arnold said.
"Overall the varsity girls are getting better," Coach Arnold said.
