Jayme Pierschbacher Selected to be a Part PHISH

The Dekko Foundation is a private, family foundation in Northeast Indiana whose mission is to Foster Economic Freedom Through Education.  For the past 30 years, the Dekko Foundation has been investing in the healthy development of children and young people.
As a part of its proactive work, the Dekko Foundation invests in youth philanthropy groups which give young people the chance to practice using their time, talents and treasure for the good of their community.  A small group of exceptional youth serve on the Dekko Foundation's youth philanthropy leadership team, called phish.  Phish stands for philanthropic ideas, strategy and heart.  This small group of 11 members helps the Dekko Foundation practice youth empowerment and provides young people with the opportunity to "swim a little deeper" into the world of professional philanthropy.  Phish is excited to welcome Ms. Jayme Pierschbacher as one of the newest members of phish.
Jayme has been a member of Splash since the end of her 7th grade year.  She was selected through an application and interview process based on her achievements and interest in school and in the community.
Jayme is the daughter of Jay and Kim Pierschbacher and the sister to Cole Pierschbacher.  She is currently a junior at the Chariton High School.
