Panthers race past Chargers in home Meet

The Chariton boys tennis team had another tough test when it faced Knoxville at home on May 5th. The Chargers lost 9-0 to the panthers on a beautiful day.
In the #1 singles match, Ryan Jones lost to Jared McClung, 10-2. In the #2 singles match, Nathan Kalsem lost to Austin Little, 10-1. In the #3 match, Andrew VanDenTop lost to A.J. Jackson, 10-0. In the #4 match, Lucas Hoeger lost to Braden DeLong, 10-0. In the #5 match, Michael Lawrence lost to Tony Salato, 10-0. In the #6 match, Caleb Schrodt lost to Blake McClung, 10-0.
In the doubles play, the #1 team of Jones/Kalsem lost to the team of Little/Salato, 8-4. In the #2 match, the team of VanDenTop/Hoeger lost to the team of McClung/McClung, 8-0. In the #3 match the team of Lawrence/Schrodt lost to the team of DeLong/Jackson, 8-0.
