Boy Golfers Third at Knoxville

  The Chariton boys golf team competed at a triangular meet with Albia and Knoxville at Knoxville on May 2nd.  Chariton placed third in the varsity team standings with a score of 186.
  Knoxville won the meet with a score of 157.  Albia was second with a 178.  Knoxville's Wyatt Carter was the medalist with a 38.  Knoxville's Skyler Cunningham was the runner up with a 39.  The Knoxville JV team was first in the JV team standings with a 183.  The Albia JV team was second with 214.
  Sean Sullenger led Chariton with a 43.  Carver Dow shot a 45 and Adam Kaska shot a 48.  Sawyer Dow shot a 50.  Trevor mark shot a 62.
  "We were missing a couple of our normal varsity guys today.  I thought the people that filled in did a really nice job.  The boys continue to improve and become more consistent golfers,"  Chariton Head Coach Ben Schooley said.
