The Chariton boys golf team took on Davis County in a dual meet at Chariton on May 8th. Both the Chariton varsity and JV teams beat the mustangs on a windy night.
The Chariton varsity beat the Davis County varsity, 174-187. Davis County's Logan Faler was the medalist with a 39. Daric Laing earned runner-up honors with 41.
Sean Sullenger and Adam Kaska each shot a 44 and TJ Hockenson shot a 45. Sawyer Dow and Trevor Mark each shot a 51.

In JV action, Chariton beat Davis County, 204-228. Carver Dow shot a 48.
Caden Steinhausen shot a 50 and Riley Walters shot a 52. Levi Gwinn shot a 54 and Coleton Pace shot a 56. Conner Altenhofen shot a 61 and Drew Spinler shot a 68.
"It was a windy night but I thought we played pretty well. We had quite a few guys shoot their lowest scores. I'm proud of the way the guys have improved this year," Chariton Head Coach Ben Schooley said.
