Four Lady Chargers Named to All-SCC
Davis is unanimous first team All-SCC selection
The 2012-2013 All-South Central Conference girls' basketball team has been announced and four Chariton girls were selected to the team. Chariton had one unanimous first team All-SCC selection in senior Miranda Davis. Allyson Showers was named to the All -SCC second team and senior Chelsea McGee and freshman Alexis Curran were both named to All-SCC Honorable Mention.
There were two other first team All-SCC unanimous selections along with Davis and they included senior Kylar McCann of Clarke and junior Shelby Graves of Davis County.
In the final conference standings, Clarke and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont finished in a first place tie with 8-2 records. Clarke had a final record of 18-5 and Eddyville was 15-8 Davis County and Chariton each finished in a tie for third at 5-5. Davis County was 12-11 overall and Chariton was 9-12. Centerville finished fifth at 3-7 and 6-16 overall. Albia was sixth at 1-9 and 4-17 overall.
