On a very wet night, the Chariton JV football team lost at Fairfield, 14-6, Sept. 26. The Chargers trailed 14-0 at halftime and got on the board with a Stephen McCurdy touchdown in the fourth quarter. With the loss, the Chariton team moved to 2-3 overall,.
