A very exciting game took place in Centerville in the season finale. The game deadlocked at 14-14 entering the fourth quarter, but the Big Reds outscored the Chargers 21-7, with a final score of 35-21.Three fumbles for Chariton along with two big screen plays they gave up for touchdowns made the difference. The team rushed for 89 yards on 36 carries. Laing led the team with 47 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns. Senior linebacker, Ronnie Christensen had three solos and seven assists. Chasen Blue's kick was partially blocked but still sailed through the uprights. Blake Paige blanketed Hawkins on a pass forcing an incompletion,. Alec Wright had 2 solos, 5 assists. Paige had 2 solos, 2 assists and Cody Carroll had 6 assists.
