| Tyler Knust catches fly ball at third base |
Chariton's game against Winterset on Senior Night, July 7th, was another impressive win with a 7-0 score. The fifth ranked Chariton Varsity baseball team was led by pitcher Dustin Harberts, who threw a complete game shutout, allowing only two hits while striking out four. The Chargers moved to 27-8 with the win.
Chariton had nine hits and drew seven walks. Cameron Knust, Harberts, and Turner Trenary each had multi-hit games for the Chargers.
After the game, a short ceremony was held honoring the six seniors on this year's squad. They include Jacob Kaska, Dustin Harberts, Riley Prough, Dalton Stites, Dillon Lundy and Tyler Knust.
