The Chariton JV softball team played three games at the JV Tournament in Bloomfield this past Wednesday, June 22. Although it was chilly, windy and wet, Chariton got all three games in.
Chariton 11 - Central Lee 0
Miranda Davis got the win on the mound with Delaney Richards as her catcher.
Centerville 8 - Chariton 7
In the second game, Centerville used a big fifth inning to come from behind to beat Chariton.
McRoberts took the loss on the mound with Leah Dow as her catcher. Dow went 2-2 with a single and a double.
Davis County 8 - Chariton 6
In the last game, Chariton had a lead slip away once again and suffered a close loss.
Ellie Bengtson took the loss on the mound and Welch was her catcher.
