McCullough and Schreck Receive Awards

 Emily McCullough, Chariton and Chantelle Schreck, Russell, have received an Accounting Academic Achievement Award at AIB College of Business.  To be considered for the recognition, McCullough and Schreck were required to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or higher in all their classes - not just accounting - over the course of the previous year.  Eligible students were reviewed by the accounting faculty. 

The students' accomplishments were celebrated at a reception attended by AIB faculty, staff and students.  Recent AIB graduate Bryant Blay spoke of his experiences working as an accountant and studying for the CPA exam.  Accounting Instructor Amanda Daugherty emphasized the importance of academic excellence in her address to the assembly.

McCullough named Presidential Scholar at AIB

Emily McCullough of Chariton has been honored as a Presidential Scholar at AIB College of Business for the 2011 Fall Term.
"Our Presidential Scholars are the best of the best," said AIB President Nancy Williams, "Students like Emily have the ambition, the will, and the talent to shine here and to be rising stars in the business world."
To be named a Presidential Scholar, McCullough had to attain a grade point average of 3.80 or higher for the term.  McCullough is earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at AIB.

Schreck named Presidential Scholar at AIB

Chantelle Schreck of Russell has been honored as a Presidential Scholar at AIB College of Business for the 2011 Fall Term.  Schreck is earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at AIB.
