The Chariton varsity boys soccer team had a tough test as they faced 10th ranked Knoxville. The Chargers lost 3-1 after holding the Panthers scoreless most of the first half and tied the game in the second. Cole Pierschbacher scored to tie the game at one apiece. The goal was a gift from the Panthers. They hit a goal kick wrong and the ball ended up going right to Cole who buried a 24 yard shot in the left corner of the net.
