Daric Laing, a 6'1" sophomore guard, was named to the Iowa Newspaper Association's All-State Boys Basketball Team. Laing was named to the Class 3A Third Team.
Laing led the Chargers in scoring at 21.6 points per game. He also finished second on the team with five rebounds per game. Laing was second on the team in assists with 98. He was first in steals with 63 and third in blocks with 17.
Laing is the son of David and Cindy Laing of Chariton.
