The Chariton JV girls edged Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, 41-40, in a tightly contested thriller at Eddyville January 7th. Chariton led 18-16 at halftime and outlasted the Rockets in the second half to win by one. Emily Seuferer led Chariton with 10 points, six rebounds and six steals. With the win, the JV girls improved to 3-0 in conference play and 3-1 overall.
Sarah Fuhs had nine points and two steals. Micaela Folkerts had six points and four steals. Delaney Richards had six points, one rebound and three steals. Carlie Schaeffer had four points and three steals. Saydee Terrell had four points and one steal. Kendall Hardie had two points and one rebound. Riley Rector had one rebound.
