The Chariton eighth grade girls Red Team suffered their first loss of the season with a 43-30 loss at Albia January 16th.
Luci Swarthout had 12 rebounds, eight steals and one assist.
Albia led 18-10 at halftime and outscored Chariton 25-20 in the second half
"Tonight was one of those nights that things just didn't go our way. I know these girls will learn from this and move on," Chariton Head Coach Jeanna Snook said.
Abbie Peterson had six points, two rebounds and two steals. Tressa Shore had four points, six rebounds and five steals. Autumn Gwinn had two points, five rebounds, four steals and one block. Aubrie Richards had two points, three rebounds and two blocks. Ivy Swarthout had two points and rebound.
The White team won, 20-6, Ashley Pfrimmer had four points and three steals. Jacklynn Johnson had four points and one steal. Natalie Baird had four points and one rebound. Shelby Jensen had three points and two rebounds. Taheton Decker had two points and three rebounds. Trinity Kemper had two points. Megan Schultz had one point and one rebound. Danica Derringer had one rebound.
