Varsity Charger Boys Win Game over Pella

6-5 was the score as The Chariton Varsity Baseball team beat Pella on June 2.  Cameron Knust walked to get on base in the top of the first.  Both later scored to give Chariton a 2-0 lead.  Shortstop Dustin Haberts walked and Dillon Lundy singled, giving the Chargers runners at first and second.  Mark Schroeder walked to load the bases.  With one out, Cameron Knust hit a sacrifice fly to center, scoring Harberts to give Chariton the lead again.  Schroeder drew a walk in the top of the fourth and Cameron Knust singled.  Jacob Kaska doubled scoring Knust to tie the game.  The Charger boys scored three runs lat to win the non-conference game.
