Thursday night, June 16, the JV girls struggled both defensively and at the plate in a 6-3 loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg. The Rockets scored six runs in the first two innings and the Chargers scored three runs in the later innings but it wasn't enough.
Miranda Davis and Emily McRoberts both pitched and Leah Dow was the catcher for the entire game. With only two hits, the Chargers could never seem to get the game under control.
