Chariton Boy Scouts paddled the Chariton River

Chariton Boy Scout Troop 149 camped at Rolling Cove Park at Rathbun Lake on the weekend of June 10-12.  Several hours were spent canoeing on the Chariton River, south of Russell.

Before returning to Chariton on Sunday morning, the Scouts walked through the entire campground area and picked up trash.

Participants for all or part of the weekend activities were Will Anderson, Ronny Christensen, Nathan Kalsam, Ben Morrett, Gabriel Plan, Gideon Plank, Matthias Plan, Stephen Sundquist, Tom Anderson, Joel Hibbs, Dan Morrett, Mark Richardson, Pam Richardson, and Dr. Philip Sundquist.
