A Team
A strong second half comeback came up just short for the Chariton eighth grade boys in a 44-28 loss to Davis County at Chariton December 13. Dylan Stites led Chariton with 11 points. Tyler Anderson had nine points, five rebounds and one assist.
"Davis County had a really good big man, both offensively and defensively, and that was tough for us. We made a nice comeback in the second half and pulled to within eight points before they pulled away at the end. All I can ask is that we keep working hard and continue to improve." Chariton Head Coach Brian Zimmerlie said.
Isaiah Tuigong had four points, three rebounds, three assists and one steal. Bradley Owens had two points and three rebounds. Riley Voss had two points. Kurt Showers had four rebounds.
B Team
Davis County won the B game, 25-12. Owens had five points and one rebound. Voss had four points, one rebound and one assist. Tanner Stephens had two points and one rebound. Will Exline had three steals. Showers had one rebound,.
The CMS eighth grade boys' next game is at home against Knoxville on January 7th.
