Varsity Boys' Season Ends With Loss to Centerville in District Final

 The Chariton varsity boys' basketball team's season came to a close with and exciting, hard-fought 52-44 loss to fifth-ranked Centerville in the District final at Knoxville February 22nd.  The Chargers led after one period and trailed by just four at halftime.  But the Big Reds went on a 14-3 run in the third quarter and the Chargers couldn't quite overcome that along with some cold shooting and came up short.  Chariton ended the season with 16-7 record.
