CHS Girls Softball and Copy Plus team up for Relay for Life
Presley Swan presented the idea for a team in the Relay for Life after her grandfather, John Braida was diagnosed with cancer and began treatments.
The promotion was "Scores for a Cure" and involved the softball team and Copy Plus. For each run scored during the year, Copy Plus would pay $1 to Relay for Life. Each win was worth $5 and by the end of the season the total was over $300. Then $10 for each home run was added with a total of $500.
The CHS softball team also supported a "Pink Night" in support of Breast Cancer awareness.
