JV Chargers Play Hard and Comeback in Second Half
The JV Chargers trailed at the end of the first half, 14-0, but outscored the Centerville Big Reds, 31-14 by the end of the game. Stephen McCurdy had an out-standing game with 157 yards rushing on 25 carries and four touchdowns. He also had one two-point conversion. With the win the JV team moved to 3-3 overall. The Chargers amassed 307 total yards including 194 yards rushing on 40 carries. They also had 113 yards passing. Chasen Blue rused for 48 yards on four carries. Cole Graves caught one pass for eight yards and Lane Blue kicked an extra point. Chasen Blue had four solo tackles and a fumble recovery. Austin Peterson had four solo tackles. Greg Beard had three solo tackles and two and a half sacks. Graves had five solo tackles. Alec Reynolds had two solo tackles and one and a half sacks.
