9th Charger Football Team lose to Ft. Madison 34-14

The game played at Jim Youel Field in Ft. Madison, proved to be too much for the 9th Chargers, as they experienced another loss.  The boys gained an early lead but couldn't hold it.  It was a very disppointing game for the young men as they had hoped to have a shot at this one.  After making a lot of mistakes, such as penalties, missed tackles and poor execution on offense, their enthusiasm began to fade.  Sawyer Dow caught one pass for minus five yards.  The Chargers committed eight penalties which lost them 65 yards.
