A furious rally in the last three minutes helped the Chariton freshmen boys turn what looked like a loss into a 31-29 victory at Eddyville-Blakesburg on Jan. 4th. With three minutes left the Chargers were down 29-17 but behind a stifling man to man full court pressure defense they scored 14 unanswered points to get the win. With the win the freshmen Chargers moved to 5-3 overall. Coach Jay Pierschbacher was pleased with the final three minutes and the results. Alec Reynolds had two points, two rebounds, one block and one steal.
